To avoid a giant carbon footprint we do not accept return products unless there is really a damage or a defect with the product which can be proved and are a fault of VP Jewelry Design.. Please note only in case of defective or wrongly delivered items at the fault of VP Jewelry Design will be exchanged or refund. (Please check our Terms & Conditions) We provide accurate product descriptions, zoomed-in texture shots, real positive and negative testimonials, and an intensive communication policy to make informed purchasing decisions.



JEWELRY INFORMATION

All VP Jewelry is made from sterling silver, Gold (18ct Gold). 

 Silver naturally tarnishes with exposure to air and the environment, as well as perfumes, lotions and perspiration. Pure Gold is very soft which makes it unsuitable for most jewelry. To make it stronger it is alloyed with other metals. VP Jewelry Design offers 18ct Gold and only upon request 14ct Gold.

All stones used by VP Jewelry Design are ethically sourced. 

As stones are naturally formed there can be slight variations with color.

Please see below for some tips on caring for your jewelry and the stones.

 If you follow these hints your jewelry should last decades!

· Skin and hair products (lotions and perfumes), along with other chemicals, can tarnish silver and corrode gold/stones. You are therefore advised to always remove all jewelry before using these products.

· Try not to get blackened silver jewelry wet as these finishes come off more easily with water. Likewise hot weather, sunlight and the sea can be damaging. Chlorine can permanently discolor gold, silver jewelry so you should avoid wearing it in pools and hot tubs.

· It is also advisable to remove jewelry when exercising, cleaning, gardening or any other rough or physical work. Try not to wear it overnight.

· All jewelry should be stored separately to avoid scratching and rubbing against one another. A silk lined pouch like the one we supply is perfect for this. Stones, particularly emeralds, and other minerals, are very easily scratched. It is even possible to scratch a diamond with another diamond so take care when wearing and storing your diamond jewelry.

· Do not store jewelry next to heating vents, windowsills or in the bathroom, as damp and hot conditions will cause the jewelry to tarnish.

· To clean your jewelry rub the piece gently with a soft lint-free cloth. It is also recommended that you visit a jeweler once a year to have it cleaned professionally. This will keep them looking their best!

· Crystals, Quartz crystals, minerals in general are very effective at healing because they can pick up or absorb subtle negative energies, imbalances and psychic debris and remove them on your behalf. However, the downside is that they can then get overloaded and need to be purified from time to time. 

Just like you feel better after a bath or refreshing vacation, your crystals need a regular trip to the crystal "spa" too.

· We recommend the crystals in a bowl of plain water or hold for a moment under running water. In any case, NEVER use salt water on our stones.

· Moonlight is a favored and safe way to cleanse any crystal type, rough or polished since they do not come into contact with anything except soft moonlight. Otherwise, sunlight is an excellent cleanser but just like your skin, too much of it can cause a "crystal sunburn." To be safe do not place these in sunlight for more than a few minutes.

· Many people favor the smudging technique with smoke from Sage, Palo Santo, herbs or incense. You can do smudging regardless of weather or time of day. It smells wonderful and the ritual of fire sets a sacred tone in the space. Smudging requires some planning and practice so do this as a ritual when you have a little time to do it thoughtfully.

· You can also add meditation, chanting or a prayer or first honor the 4 directions. Create a ceremony that is meaningful to you and your spiritual heritage or learning.
